Chantilly, VA – April 28, 2016 – Vencore Labs Inc., wholly owned subsidiary of Vencore Inc., announced today that it has been awarded a task order to provide advanced data analytics, monitoring and consulting services to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The two-year contract has a total ceiling value of $5.6 million.
This new work draws on the deep experience Vencore Labs has in data modeling, text and data analytics, statistical programming and project management. Together with their partner, Promontory, Vencore Labs will bring broad knowledge and expertise in the financial industry, incorporating smart analytics into the monitoring of trends and risks in capital markets for the customer.

The task order is part of the SEC’s Quantitative Research Analytical Data Support (QRADS) program which supports the agency’s Division of Economic and Risk Analysis (DERA). DERA was created in September 2009 to integrate financial economics and rigorous data analytics into the core activities of the SEC. QRADS is a flexible program designed to meet the SEC’s growing and changing data needs, including processing and analysis of FINRA-produced financial market data, OTC security-based swap data, and mutual fund flow data, among others.
