Vikram Kaul, chief research scientist, Vencore Labs was invited to speak at the NSA Information Assurance Symposium (IAS) in Baltimore, MD. IAS is a premier information assurance event which brings together leaders from industry, government and academia to discuss the nation’s information assurance and cyber challenges.
Kaul will be participating in a panel discussing “Advanced Commercial Solutions for Classified (CSfC) Technologies for Managing and Rapidly Deploying Expeditionary Communications.” This panel will present challenges and best practices in developing such systems, from real world experience. Kaul, in particular, will discuss innovative and efficient approaches to rapid implementation and efficient management of end user devices.
Additionally, Vencore Labs will be demonstrating new technologies in CSfC in booth #720 with co-panelists PacStar and Aruba. As an NSA-recognized trusted integrator for the CSfC program, Vencore Labs provides full lifecycle support for CSfC including planning, design, implementation, verification and registration.
IAS 2017 will highlight increased, relevant briefings from departments across the U.S. Government, contractors, industry and academia. Additionally, the symposium will take a look at technology trends and best practices, integrated cyber defense capabilities, integrating and delivering information assurance and cybersecurity capabilities and services and how to develop and sustain a workforce of cybersecurity experts to increase the national security at a nationwide scale.
